What is Reg2Go?
The Reg2Go program allows high school seniors to participate in orientation, assessment, counseling, and registration at Butte College prior to the end of their senior year. The program is designed for:

  • High school seniors who know they want to attend Butte College.
  • High school seniors who are still weighing their options.
  • High school seniors who want a College back-up option.

The REG2GO Program consists of 4 elements:

  1. A Butte College classroom presentation in Post High School Prep Class (Fall semester)
  2. Student’s on-line registration to Butte College required prior to scheduled Assessment Test date. Butte College Student I.D. Number provided upon on-line Registration. On-line application completed through your Post High School Prep Class  (Fall semester)
  3. COMPASS (Computer-Adaptive College Placement Test) Assessment Test offered in our PHS Library (Spring semester). Basic Skills Assessment consists of Computerized; adaptive, Multiple Choice Reading/English/Math Test. Math concepts may include Numerical Skills, Pre-Algebra, Algebra and college Algebra and college entrance level Trigonometry. Unlimited time for all students. Allow two weeks for processing results. Test Results are available on Butte College website,  MyBC Portal, also a copy is provided at Orientation.
  4. Field trip to Butte College for Orientation, Counselor Advising & Butte College Fall Semester Registration (Spring semester)

Important Dates:
As dates are established in coordination with Butte College Reg2Go Personnel, announcements will be made in the Post High School Prep class. Information will also be provided in the Princeton Jr./Sr. High School Daily Bulletin.

Butte College Transfer Day

Transfer Day at Butte College is designed to help students explore transfer opportunities at various public, private, out of state colleges and universities. Take a Butte College campus tour and experience a little bit of what Butte has to offer you!  

In the past Butte College has had representation with over 30 Universities from 8 different states attend the Transfer Day event. University Representatives attend to answer campus specific questions and provide admission information.  Attendees will have the opportunity to speak to representatives from: Universities of California, California State Universities, private universities, and some out-of-state colleges and universities.

Princeton Jr./Sr. High School will provide students with transportation to the event (Students with signed parent/guardian permission slips only) and Butte College will be providing lunch.
