Dr. Christine McCormick

Superintendent, Principal

Christine (Chris) McCormick was raised on a ranch outside of Wheatland, CA.  She earned a Bachelors in Business Administration from Humboldt State University and worked as an auditor for the first part of her career. She made the switch to education when her children were little, earning her teaching credential from Chapman University and her Masters in educational administration from National University.  She holds a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership where she focused her research on the needs of small school districts.

In her spare time Chris enjoys traveling, gardening, cooking and reading. She has two grown children, her son is stationed at the Naval Base in Groton, CT and her daughter works at Disneyland and lives in Orange, CA.  She is excited to lead in one of the districts she studied in her research and looks forward to working with the staff, students and community of Princeton.

Mr. Alex Hinely

Chief Business Official

Alex Hinely was born in Central California and raised in Colusa County. After graduating from Colusa High School, he earned his B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles and his M.A. in History from Arizona State University.

When he is not at school, Alex enjoys reading, yard-work, and watching ice hockey. He is also a member of the UCLA Alumni Scholarship Committee and the University of California Education Abroad Scholarship Committee.

Mr. Lance Swift

Director of Maintenance and Transportation

Lance Swift was born in Oneonta, NY. He graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a focus in Drinking Water Operations. He has worked for PJUSD for three years. Lance and his wife Wanda have two children, a boy, 32 and a girl, 13; he also has 3 grandkids.

In his spare time Lance enjoys traveling, rock and fossil digging, attending comic conventions and coin collecting. He has two dogs, a cat and three kittens. Lance is the Lieutenant, Firefighter/EMT for the Sacramento River Fire District. He enjoys working with the staff and interacting with the students.

Mr. Nate Odom

Dean Of Students

Nate Odom was born in Chico, CA. He graduated from California State University, Chico with a BA in History along with a credential in Social Sciences. Nate is currently Princeton’s Dean of Students, which allows him to be a part of both schools at PJUSD.  He regularly advises students at the Jr./Sr. High School, as well as the Elementary School. 

Nate and his wife Megan have two children; Bryant and Allison. He also has an adorable schnoodle (half schnauzer, half poodle) named Penny. When Nate is not working with students at Princeton, he spends his time golfing, making home improvements, and traveling with his family. Nate says what he enjoys most about working at PJUSD is, "The close-knit atmosphere that our small school provides.  Because of that atmosphere we are able to get to know our students on a whole new level that promotes a better school experience for both teachers and students."
