Mrs. Diana Baca

Chief Business Officer, Director of Human Resources

Diana Baca was born in Burbank, CA, and grew up in South Lake Tahoe, CA.  She moved to the Napa Valley in the 80s and worked in the wine business for many years.  She began her career in education in 2001 as a volunteer playground supervisor, and worked for nine years with the Glenn County Office of Education in the Student Services department before becoming the CBO/HR Director for Princeton JUSD in 2016.

Diana lives with her husband, Raul, in Colusa.  They have two sons, one daughter and son-in-law, three granddaughters, a "pack of mutts," and family all over the country.  When not at work, Diana enjoys spending time with family, working on old cars, reading and relaxing.

Mr. Nate Odom

Dean Of Students

Nate Odom was born in Chico, CA. He graduated from California State University, Chico with a BA in History along with a credential in Social Sciences. Nate is currently Princeton’s Dean of Students, which allows him to be a part of both schools at PJUSD.  He regularly advises students at the Jr./Sr. High School, as well as the Elementary School. 

Nate and his wife Megan have two children; Bryant and Allison. He also has an adorable schnoodle (half schnauzer, half poodle) named Penny. When Nate is not working with students at Princeton, he spends his time golfing, making home improvements, and traveling with his family. Nate says what he enjoys most about working at PJUSD is, "The close-knit atmosphere that our small school provides.  Because of that atmosphere we are able to get to know our students on a whole new level that promotes a better school experience for both teachers and students."

Mr. Lance Swift

Director of Maintenance and Transportation

Lance Swift was born in Oneonta, NY. He graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a focus in Drinking Water Operations. He has worked for PJUSD for three years. Lance and his wife Wanda have two children, a boy, 32 and a girl, 13; he also has 3 grandkids.

In his spare time Lance enjoys traveling, rock and fossil digging, attending comic conventions and coin collecting. He has two dogs, a cat and three kittens. Lance is the Lieutenant, Firefighter/EMT for the Sacramento River Fire District. He enjoys working with the staff and interacting with the students.

Mrs. Raquel Albor-Hernandez

District Secretary, Bookkeeper

Raquel Albor-Hernandez was born in Jalisco, Mexico and graduated from Williams High School. She began her career in office administration and early childhood education. Raquel pursued her work experience in different job settings, including industrial, private-owned agencies, and school services. She has worked for PJUSD since 2016, enjoys working with the staff, and thinks the students are great!
 
She enjoys spending quality time with her daughter Alessandra. Raquel and her family love to travel and she likes to stay physically active, enjoys home decorating, and staying busy with her daughter.
Mr. Alex Hinely

Attendance Clerk, Career Center Supervisor

Alex Hinely was born in Central California and raised in Colusa County. After graduating from Colusa High School, he earned his B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles and is currently working towards his M.A. in History from Arizona State University.

When he is not at school, Alex enjoys reading, yard-work, and watching ice hockey. He is also a member of the UCLA Alumni Scholarship Committee and the University of California Education Abroad Scholarship Committee.

Ms. Bella Shulthise

Van Driver, Custodian

Bella Shulthise was born in Woodland, CA and grew up here in Princeton. Originally from Colusa, she moved to Princeton in 2006. Bella is a former student of Princeton Unified School District and was very involved in school. Bella was a part of ASB (Vice President, Student Board Representative), MEChA, Block P, and CSF. Bella also played volleyball and was a cheerleader.

Bella now goes Butte College, majoring in Criminal Justice, and is in the BC/CS transfer program. Bella has been an employee of Princeton Joint Unified School District since 2016. When not at work, Bella enjoys spending time with her family in Colusa, being with her two cats, Claude and Cali, and participating in college activities.
