Mrs. Linda Hansen

Secretary

Linda was born in Colusa, CA and graduated from Princeton Jr./Sr. High School. After graduation, she began working at Tri-Counties Bank in Willows as a teller. She worked there for five years, advancing to loan secretary. She then began her next job at Princeton Elementary School, where she has been employed ever since. She enjoys working with the students, staff, and parents at the school.

Linda is happily married to a wonderful man, Greg Hansen. She is very proud of their two great kids, Cody and Amanda. Cody owns his own business, Hansen Trucking and Farms. Amanda, who also graduated from Princeton Jr./Sr. High School, is currently attending Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park.

Mrs. Theresa Zoller

Secretary

Theresa was born in Marysville, CA. She has been working for PJUSD for 36 years as a school secretary. Theresa has three children, Chad, Justin, and Brianna. All of her children are Princeton graduates. Theresa is also a Princeton graduate, class of 1982.

When Theresa is not at Princeton Elementary, she spends her time with her family, reading, and scrapbooking. She has two laboradors, Ty and Bailey. Theresa loves the small size of the elementary school and being able to get to know both the children and parents. If you have a question, Theresa has an answer!

Mrs. Chris Stillwell

Transitional Kindergarten & Kindergarten Teacher

Chris Stillwell was born in Lynwood, CA. She graduated from California State University, Chico with a BA in Liberal Studies, along with a liberal studies credential and English supplemental credential. Before teaching in Princeton, she taught kindergarten for one year in Elk Creek. Chris joined PJUSD in 1986 and has subsequently taught at both Princeton Elementary School and Princeton Jr./Sr. High School. After 11 years teaching English, home economics, and physical education at the high school, she decided it was time to return to the elementary school.

She has one son, Hunter, and one daughter, Tayler. When Chris is not teaching, she enjoys reading, walking, hiking, swimming, traveling, and spending time with her family. Chris is excited to return to Princeton Elementary School as the TK-K teacher and shares, “What I enjoy the most about working in Princeton are the students; we have great kids!”

Ms. Maegan Shackelford

First & Second Grade Teacher

Maegan Shackelford was born and raised in Southern California. She moved to Chico to continue her education and work towards a career in teaching. Maegan earned her BA in Liberal Studies from California State University, Chico.

Maegan has three sisters and one brother. She enjoys spending her free time in nature and with family. As a second year teacher, she is excited to continue her journey at Princeton Elementary School.

Mrs. Candice Pierce

Third & Fourth Grade Teacher

Candice Pierce lives with her husband and four children in Orland, CA. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from C.S.U Sacramento and a Teaching Credential from National University. She is currently working towards a Master's Degree in Educational Best Practices. Candice works as the current 3rd and 4th grade teacher, the district ELPAC Coordinator, and manages the yearbook at the elementary school. Candice serves on the Glenn County Fair Board and the Junior Livestock Committee; as appointed by former Governor Brown. When not teaching, Candice and her family are often found in surrounding communities at 4-H events, football, soccer, and baseball games.

Candice enjoys collaborating with other staff and community members to make our school a place with a variety of enriching activities. As a second year teacher at Princeton Elementary School, she is looking forward to strengthening relationships with families and developing a solid educational foundation for students.

Ms. Natasha Stegall

Fifth & Sixth Grade Teacher

Natasha Stegall was born in Yuba City, CA and grew up in Colusa. She graduated from Colusa High School and has been a lifelong resident of Colusa County. Natasha graduated from California State University, Chico with a BA in Liberal Studies, where she also earned her teaching credential.

Natasha has one dog, a Shih Tzu named Diamond. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, hiking, and camping. She enjoys working in the tight-knit community of Princeton.

Mrs. Bai Vue

Resource Teacher

Bai Vue is Princeton Joint Unified School District’s resource teacher. She was born in Chico, CA and grew up in borth Willows and Chico. Bai graduated from California State University Chico, with a BA in social work and is currently completing her teaching credential at Chico State.

Bai has two brothers and three sisters. She loves spending time with her family and friends, and enjoys sewing and photography in her free time. When asked about working in Princeton, Bai responded, “I love the community at PJUSD. I enjoy working with students of all ages.”

Mrs. Sandy Houtman

Paraprofessional, SOAR Lead

Sandy grew up in the Princeton area and graduated from Princeton Jr./Sr. High School. The highlight of her high school career was playing sports and being involved with music. Sandy enjoyed growing up in the country and living on a working ranch. She married a local man and together they had 2 girls, 1 boy, and they are very proud of their 6 amazing grandchildren.

Sandy runs the Computer Lab at Princeton Elementary and is in Lead position of our afterschool program, SOAR. Sandy has worked for PJUSD for many years and loves working with the Super Star Staff and our Awesome Students.

Mrs. Agripina Rodriguez

Bilingual Paraprofessional

Agripina was born in Florencia de Benito Juárez, Zacatecas, México. She came to the United States in 1980. She also attended Princeton Jr./Sr. High School and graduated in 1983. She has four children Leslie, Brenda, Martin, and Emmanuel. Leslie, Brenda, and Martin Graduated California State University, Chico. Emmanuel is currently attending CSU Chico.

Agripina enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking, and walking (especially at Bidwell Park in Chico, CA). She has a miniature French Poodle, her name is Morusa. Agripina enjoys working with the students and listening to their stories. She believes PJUSD is a great environment for students.

Mrs. Tamara Hitt

Resource Paraprofessional

Tamara Hitt is a paraprofessional who works with the Resource Specialist Teacher at both Princeton Elementary School and Princeton Jr./Sr. High School. She has worked in the special education field for 15 years, the last six of which were at Princeton Joint Unified School District.

Tamara has been a resident of Princeton for 21 years. She loves the outdoors and nature.

Ms. Holly Irish

Resource Paraprofessional, SOAR Lead

Holly Irish grew up in Princeton, CA and graduated from Princeton Jr./Sr. High School. She earned a BS in Human Services from the University of Phoenix. Along with being a Paraprofessional, and SOAR Lead, Holly is a Substitute Teacher.

She enjoys living in and being part of a small community. When she is not working, she enjoys being home with her son, family, and friends. She is an avid reader, loves to travel, experience new things, go to book conventions, and bake.
