Mrs. Diana Chavez

Secretary

Diana was born in Zacatecas, Mexico and immigrated to the U.S. in 1991. She grew up in Willows and graduated from Willows High School in 2001.

She is married to Humberto, and they have three wonderful kids, Jaqui, Tito, and Ivan. Jaqui is a Princeton graduate and currently attending Chico State. Tito is a Junior at Princeton High, and Ivan is a 5th grader at Princeton Elementary. Diana also has a black lab/German shepherd dog named Capo.

This is her second year working at PJUSD, and she's grateful to have the opportunity to serve the community!
Ms. Holly Irish

Jr. High Teacher

Holly Irish grew up in Princeton, CA and graduated from Princeton Jr./Sr. High School. She has a Bachelors degree in Human Services, and is currently enrolled in a Masters of Education program. She enjoys living in and being part of a small community.

When she is not working, she enjoys being home with her son, family, and friends. She is an avid reader, loves to travel, go to book conventions, and bake.
Mr. Bryan Lex

Social Science Teacher, Physical Education Teacher

Bryan Lex was born in Chico, CA. He attended both Butte College and Shasta College before graduating from William Penn University, Iowa with a BA in History and teaching credential. He has worked for Princeton Jr./Sr. High School since 1999. He is very involved with PJUSD as the Social Studies and P.E. instructor, Athletic Director, Football Coach, Baseball Coach, Jr. High Flag Football and Basketball Coach, Block P Advisor, and 8th Grade Advisor.

Bryan and his wife Molly have two Labradors; Abby and Honey. When he is not teaching or coaching, he spends his time fishing, gardening, and gold panning. He really enjoys working in a small school and community.
Ms. Lisa Pence

English Teacher

Lisa was born and raised in Willows, CA. She attended Sonoma State where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts Communications and is finishing her Master of Education at Grand Canyon University. 

When she is not working, Lisa loves being active with her new baby boy, Asher, and spending time with friends, family, and black lab, Huck. Her and her little family love going on many travel adventures too. She loves everything Disney and visits Disneyland often.
 
Lisa is very excited to be at Princeton and has already made wonderful connections with the students/staff. She is excited to be a mighty Eagle!

Mr. Anthony Peters

History Teacher, Physical Education Teacher

Anthony Peters was born and raised in Fairfield, CA. He graduated from Buckingham Charter School in 2002 and joined the Army after graduation. Peters served in 1/7 Cavalry Squadron as a cavalry scout from 2002 to 2005. He also served as an aerial reconnaissance specialist in Task Force ODIN in 2009. He served two tours of Iraq. He graduated from Chico State with a bachelor of arts degree in journalism. After graduating from Chico State, Anthony worked as a multi-media reporter for Action News Now in Chico. 

This is Anthony’s fifth year as a teacher at Princeton High. Last year he taught English and has since moved to teaching history and PE. Anthony is also the volleyball coach and girls basketball head coach.

Mrs. Bai Vue

Resource Teacher

Bai Vue is Princeton Joint Unified School District’s resource teacher. She was born in Chico, CA and grew up in both Willows and Chico. Bai graduated from California State University Chico, with a BA in social work and is currently completing her teaching credential at Chico State.

Bai has two brothers and three sisters. She loves spending time with her family and friends, and enjoys sewing and photography in her free time. When asked about working in Princeton, Bai responded, “I love the community at PJUSD. I enjoy working with students of all ages.”
